Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Full-time Primary Care Registered Nurse (RN) at Portsmouth's Naval Oceana Clinic in Virginia Beach, Virginia. 

 

Position Highlights:

  • Excellent work/life balance | Monday-Friday 7am - 4:00pm (no weekend or holiday requirements!) 
  • Employee status with full complement of benefits; 11 paid federal holidays off
  • Provide care to our Nation's armed forces and their dependents

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient assessments, triage, and evaluations
  • Execution of physician orders within the guidelines of standard nursing practice
  • Provide treatment and discharge instructions upon patient release
  • Documentation of patient care and observations
  • Provide patient education and emotional support

Position Requirements:

  • Graduate of a state-accredited professional nursing program
  • Active RN license
  • 1 year of experience as an RN working in an out-patient setting within the last 3 years (experience MUST be in Primary Care, Urgent care, Emergency Medicine or Ambulatory care setting
  • Active BLS certification
  • U. S Citizen
