Daycare & Preschool Teacher | Colorado Springs

The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking Assistant and Lead infant and toddler teachers for our NAEYC-accredited school in Colorado Springs. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!

Lead Teacher starting pay: $16-$18/hour, starting rates based on education and experience.
Assistant Teacher starting pay: $15-$16/hour, starting rates based on experience.

Teacher Duties:

  • Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
  • Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
  • Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
  • Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!

  • High school diploma or equivalent required and must be at least 18-years-old.
  • Previous teaching experience in licensed childcare preferred.
  • Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred.
  • Lead Teacher: Starting pay of $16-$18/hour, based on education and experience.
  • Must have the following qualifications to be considered:
    • Early child development college courses
    • Completed college degree
    • Current CDA
    • Early childhood or special education professional development trainings through the state such as EQUIT or pyramid plus
    • Credential 3.0 level 2 or higher
