About the team Our Warehouse Operations team is the heartbeat of our fulfillment process, expertly managing everything from inbound shipments to outbound deliveries, including returns, picking, packing, and shipping. Their precision and dedication ensure every customer receives the perfect fit, on time, so they can feel confident and look their best for life’s most memorable moments. By keeping operations seamless and customer-focused, this team plays a pivotal role in delivering experiences that help our customers own their most special occasions.

About the role The Black Tux is looking for a Warehouse Ambassador to help with Inbound Shoe functions in our Pittston, PA warehouse. The Ambassador is responsible for training new and existing associates. Monitoring all productivity and quality of all outgoing inventory. This position will also ensure that orders are leaving with the customer in mind to uphold our high quality standards. The position will report to the Area Manager. An ideal candidate will provide a positive example of performance, safety, and reliability to the rest of the team.

What You’ll Do

Train new and existing associates on Receiving functions, and support those who need additional assistance
Ensure all labor is conducted following the floor plan published each day
Maintain a clean and organized work station
Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same
Follow the standard operating procedures and notify a lead or manager in case of any challenges
Notify lead or manager immediately about any quality defect
Fulfill in-house supply orders to other departments
Assist in the loading and unloading of palletized freight
Inspect deliveries to ensure merchandise and supplies are as-expected
Conduct weekly supply counts and update current supply levels in tracking spreadsheets
Audit new inventory to ensure it matches the TBT existing inventory and standards
Restock supply items and submit order requests for items in low supply
Use machinery such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move inventory and supplies throughout the warehouse
Perform other duties as assigned

Who You Are

1+ years of experience in a warehouse environment
Previous experience in training or a leadership position
Fast and efficient while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and high attention to detail
Naturally curious to understand themself and their work better
Understands general warehouse concepts such as 5S, Lean, PPE, MSDS, Root Cause Analysis - Korber knowledge is a plus
Collaborative nature both when working with others and taking on a project
Takes pride in punctuality for themselves and their team
Working knowledge of Gmail, Google Sheets and/or Excel, Google Docs
Bilingual in Spanish and English

How we work at The Black Tux

Onsite

Onsite TBT team members need to be in person working full-time (40 hours per week) from an office, warehouse, or showroom. The reason being is that these roles have a requirement for a physical presence to do their job with customers, team members, or at one of our locations. We host a number of onsite events where all our team members are welcome!

Pay and Benefits

The base hourly range for this position will be $19.56/hr-$20.72/hr. Compensation may vary based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and location. The Black Tux defines compensation plans using market data aligned with comparable companies at a similar stage and size as ours.
