The Jr. Specialist Editor will play a vital role in crafting high-quality legal commentary content designed for sophisticated professionals in Employment Law Litigation. This position requires a strong foundation in writing and editing, along with a deep understanding of the subject matter to produce insightful and authoritative content.
About the Role:
Content Creation and Editing:
Develop, research, write, and edit a variety of content formats, including articles, reports, and online resources, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and engagement on Employment Law Litigation.
Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to gather insights and incorporate feedback, enhancing the quality and relevance of content.
Using Employment Law practice experience and knowledge, provide insights and suggestions for content innovation and development.
Quality Assurance:
Uphold editorial standards by meticulously reviewing content for legal accuracy, style consistency, and factual correctness.
Establish best practices for new content, driving continuous improvement in content quality.
Create new content and implement revisions and updates promptly to maintain the timeliness and reliability of published materials.
Research and Analysis:
Use experience to identify and monitor emerging issues and litigation in Employment Law.
Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, emerging issues, and regulatory changes to inform content strategy and development.
Analyze new legislation, agency regulations, rules and rulings, court cases, and other official materials and/or pronouncements in Employment Law Litigation.
Analyze audience needs and feedback to continuously refine content offerings and address knowledge gaps.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with product management, sales, marketing, and development teams to align content initiatives with business objectives and promotional strategies.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and demonstrate the value of content solutions
About You:
Education: J.D. required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in Employment Law Litigation.
Skills:
Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
Strong analytical and research capabilities, with proficiency in using content management systems and editorial tools.
Knowledge of technology that impacts areas of expertise.
Familiarity with AI and generative AI tools as they apply to legal research and content creation.
Attributes:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experienced professional with in-depth knowledge of technical discipline or specialization.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
