Director, Enterprise Architecture

Position Overview:

Tiffany & Co. is seeking a highly pragmatic and inspiring Enterprise Architecture Director to lead the transformation, modernization and simplification of our Information System. 

This pivotal role will drive strategic alignment between IT and business objectives, foster innovation, simplifying our IT landscape, and strengthening our relationship with business functions by showcasing the value of Enterprise Architecture and IT. 

The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, inspire change and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into tangible business value. The successful candidate needs the capability to bridge the gap between state-of-the-art architecture and practical, budget/time-conscious actionable solutions.

This position requires an inspiring leader who can define strategic guidance, best practices, governance, drives change and empower solutions architects and other IT members to translate from key principles to concrete actions. 

The role will also communicate effectively with IT leaders and with C-level executives to translate complex IT decisions into clear business value.

The candidate will also foster a strong connection with our regions teams (EMEA, Asia & China) and also with the LVMH Group Enterprise Architecture team and will be the key representative of Tiffany & Co. within the LVMH enterprise architecture community.

The candidate will also spearhead our application integration strategy and execution. This pivotal role is responsible for leading a team of integration specialists in designing, developing, and maintaining seamless data and process flows across our enterprise applications. 

The candidate will manage in direct:

  • 2 Enterprise Architects
  • 1 Integration Manager & the integration team (3 internal and 15-20 external team members)

The candidate will report to the VP. Enterprise Architecture & Data Analytics.

The role will be based out of the Tiffany & Co. Parsippany, NJ office.

Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture roles, with a strong background in IT enterprise architecture, company culture transformation, and change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex IT concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with a pragmatic approach to architecture development.
  • Experience in modernizing and simplifying information systems.
  • Deep, hands-on technical and operational expertise with IT technologies and architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ARCHIMATE).
  • Expansive knowledge of end-to-end enterprise applications such as: ERP, planning systems, Sales Force, eCommerce, POS
  • Large project implementation experience is required, preferably in a global company. Experience with integration to a major ERP system is required J.D. Edwards, EnterpriseOne are preferred.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, API management, and microservice-oriented architecture. Possess a blend of deep technical expertise in integration technologies.
  • Experience in budget management and strategic planning.
  • Requires strong influencing / negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working at the C-level
  • A bachelor's degree in information systems or technology, or a related field. An MBA would be an asset.

Preferred:

  • Experience with specific technologies relevant to the luxury retail industry.
  • Experience with global project management and distributed teams.
  • A proven track record of inspiring change and transforming IT culture in a large organization.
  • Experience with Digital Platform implementations (e.g. Commerce engines, PIM, Salesforce Commerce)
  • Experience with CRM implementations (e.g. Salesforce Marketing cloud, and Salesforce)
  • Experience with Order Management Systems (e.g. IBM Sterling)
  • Experience with ERP implementations (e.g. JDEdwards EnterpriseOne or SAP)
  • Experience with integration solutions, skill and knowledge of API Gateways, Salesforce MuleSoft, Fivetran, Enterprise Service Bus, IBM service bus, Informatica
  • Experience with Data platform on Google cloud and AI/BI
  • English required, French is a plus
