Director Opportunity

A core driver of Tyton Partners’ success is the Director, who plays a critical leadership role within the organization by driving and creating value across, client delivery and relationship management, sales, and broader Firm growth initiatives.

A Director serves as the project/delivery lead on multiple client engagements simultaneously and drives sales efforts through the expansion of new relationships and leveraging existing client relationships through repeat engagements. The ideal candidate should have a track record of leading engagements that delight clients in consulting settings and, ideally, demonstrated experience as an operating leader. A successful Director will have a proven aptitude or clear potential for building new relationships for Tyton Partners across the various segments it serves.

This is an ideal position for an experienced professional who is passionate about the education sector and the broader learning ecosystem. They should be willing to roll up their sleeves to contribute to a growing organization with ambitious goals and high standards.

Primary responsibilities of a Director include:

  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects from kick-off through delivery of final client deliverables while driving team to fact-based and analytically rigorous answers and insightful recommendations to our clients
  • Expand existing client relationships through repeat engagements and building ongoing advisor-of-choice relationships with senior leaders
  • Drive new client acquisition by leveraging past relationships, building new relationships, and developing thought leadership in specific segments of the education sector based on interest and firm needs
  • Develop the Firm by leveraging internal and external networks, building deep knowledge of sector trends, supporting talent development, and developing best practices
  • Manage, develop, and mentor junior team members

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of professional experience
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. MBA, PhD, EdD, or other relevant advanced degree preferred
  • Strategy consulting and other relevant client service experience required
  • Demonstrated experience advising other leaders strongly preferred
  • Operating leadership experience in an education-focused company, non-profit organization, or institution is strongly preferred
  • Experience sourcing and closing consulting engagements in the Education sector strongly preferred
  • Passion for and demonstrated interest in the Education sector
