The Clinical Laboratory Scientist performs clinical laboratory tests that employ the principles of one or more of the fundamental sciences to detect identify measure or enumerate any particular entity or substance in a clinical laboratory specimen. A clinical laboratory specimen is any material removed from a human being on which examinations can be made to aid in ascertaining the presence progress or source of disease in human beings. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
