As a Nurse Labor and Delivery at Dignity Health's Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, your responsibilities will include triaging patients to assess their labor status, supporting women through the labor process with pain management and fetal monitoring, and providing education about various interventions. To qualify for the Nurse Labor and Delivery position at Mercy Gilbert, candidates must possess at least one year of experience in Labor and Delivery, an ADN or diploma (with a BSN preferred), and a valid RN license in Arizona or from a Compact State. Additionally, current certifications such as BLS and ACLS are necessary, along with obtaining NRP certification within six months of hire.
