Job Overview

Marvin Roanoke is looking for a 2nd Shift Quality Supervsior to join the team.This Quality Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all quality standards are being followed by employees on the production lines that quality task are being performed as required and prioritizing of quality tech and auditor functions. This position is responsible for leading, directing, and motivating the production lines to develop products of the highest quality.  This individual is required to possess strong communication skills, intermediate mathematical skills, team working skills, and the ability to self-motivate and supervise others.  This position will monitor the quality of the products produced on the production line and provide feedback to supervisors on product quality issues.

Highlights of your role

  • Responsible for supervising the Quality Auditors and Techs to ensure that all quality standards are being followed and maintained; this includes;  developing and training line associates on product standards and specifications. 
  • Responsible for maintenance of the gage calibration system, incoming inspection system, corrective actions system and measurement request system.
  • Create and maintain a work environment that promotes success and surpasses company goals
  • Maintain responsibility for keeping proper paperwork and documentation of departmental data.
  • Communicate safety and safety training by following safety policies when operating power hand tools and other equipment.
  • Supervises 11+ Associates

 

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

  • High School Diploma/GED required – Associate or two-year degree from a college or technical school is preferred. Six months to one year of related supervisory experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.  Prior quality experience, certifications and training preferred but not required.
