Responsibilities

About This PositionIn keeping with the French Hospital Medical Center healthcare philosophy the Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures at a technically proficient level. Instructs the patient operates ultrasound equipment and determines the technical factors for ultrasound procedures. Ensures correct marking/labeling of images provide and confirm proper/adequate documentation of procedures to assist in diagnosis. Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • One year clinical experience as a technologist or student in an accredited Ultrasound program. 
  • ARDMS eligible. Must obtain ARDMS within two (2) years of hire.
  • A.A. Degree preferred.
