Speech Language Pathologist Weekend Per Diem

SUMMARY: The Speech-Language Pathologist conducts evaluations and offers therapeutic interventions for patients experiencing communication and/or swallowing difficulties as a result of illness, accident, birth defect or developmental delay.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Master’s degree in Speech Pathology from ASHA accredited university
Experience: Acute care experience preferred, including experience gained from graduate level clinical externship; strong dysphagia evaluation and treatment skills.
License: NYS Speech-Language Pathologist license or license eligible

Working Conditions:

Manual: Little or no manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity

Occupational: Little or no potential for occupational risk

Physical Effort: Sedentary/light effort. May exert up to 10 lbs. force

Physical Environment: Generally pleasant working conditions
