Vestiaire Collective is looking for a temporary maternity leave coverage for US Consignment Lead and is expected to start in May and last for 5 months.


About the role 🖥️
  • The role of the US Consignment Lead is to grow Vestiaire Collective’s VIP Consignment business in the region by redefining the service and its target audience, building and growing teams of account managers and business developers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience shaping a new clienteling service in secondhand fashion, recruiting and managing teams of sales and account managers. Previous experience in the fashion industry and understanding of fashion clients is a must.


What you will do 👜
  • Team management: Manage a team of performance-oriented key account managers and coach existing teams into developing a strong client roster and quality consignment business, with a strong sales and clienteling acumen to reach (and exceed) target KPIs
  • Business development: Build customer acquisition strategy to call, meet and make initial contact with target prospects and onboard as new clients to meet monthly goals  
  • Account Management: You are responsible for managing top VIP clients  through sales and relationship management as needed, including day to day support and troubleshooting  
  • Revenue Generation: Drive onsite campaigns, maximize GMV, optimize your stock intake and manage sell-thru rates by analyzing sales performance data, while always maintaining a strong product selection  
  • Operations: Working closely with the Brooklyn operations team to manage a strong consignment logistics, operations flow and priorities. Manage volume and problem-solve on ways to address busy periods. 
  • Partnerships : Identify opportunities and develop value added partnerships to grow the business and bring on new sellers   
  • Global teamwork: Partner with other cross-functional teams on structuring and executing operational and strategic initiatives.


Who you are ⭐
  • You have at least 7 years of experience with both business and sales/clienteling teams within the fashion resale industry
  • You have experience building and coaching sales and performance-oriented teams
  • You understand the complexity of a consignment business from both a business and a clienteling perspectiveYou are data driven and have a strong understanding of key retail and e-commerce dynamics  
  • Proactive, you are comfortable working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.  
  • You are customer focused and excited to build new customer experiences   
  • You are a self-starter, detail-oriented and customer-focused, with the ability to attract talents and lead teams of various backgrounds.  
  • Experience in the fashion resale market is strongly preferred.
