The Co-brand business development team forms a critical part of the NA Co-brand team, as part of the Enabler, Merchant and Fintech (EMF) team.

Our team’s mission is to win new co-brand business in the US and Canada. The team is engaged across multiple functions within the Visa US organization to bring the very best of Visa’s expertise and assets to our clients, earning well-qualified wins to drive revenue growth while building trust and growing engagement and satisfaction among teammates, partners and clients.

The Director, Co-Brand and Partnership Development is responsible for leading and executing a Co-brand and broader partnership development strategy for one of the key verticals on the team.  This role requires leadership, vision and creativity to develop the Co-brand strategy, drive the expansion of Visa products and solutions, and lead the overall commercialization of Visa’s business development objectives.

This role will report directly to the Senior Director, Head of North American Co-Brand Business Development This role will collaborate with key executive leadership from functions across Visa such as EMF sales leaders, issuer account leaders, marketing, technology, customer support, and product teams. Externally, this role will collaborate with senior executives at merchants, issuers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business development and own P&L for high priority co-brand opportunities in North America including renewals, net new opportunities, and takeaway engagements.
  • Develop and manage the US Co-brand sales pipeline including prospect prioritization, sales strategy and cross functional collaboration for a designated industry vertical
  • Drive pitch and proposal development and lead external discussions and negotiations with the client to secure new business.
  • Drive cross-functional discussions with the relevant stakeholders to construct Visa’s value story and lead internal alignment.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that define Visa’s long-term approach and demonstrate thought leadership to our partners.
  • Serve as internal and external thought leader responsible for communicating Visa's Co-brand and partnership vision, strategy and perspective within a rapidly evolving industry.

This position can be located at any Visa office.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
