Team Summary

The Visa Healthcare team is charged with leading the sales strategy and commercialization of best-in-class healthcare payment solutions as we seek to meet the growing and increasingly diversified needs of healthcare organizations, payers, providers, and the issuer and fintech clients driving the digitization of payments in the healthcare space.  This team will need to understand the end user needs to make sure our offerings, and those of issuers and fintech’s resonate.   In addition, this team is responsible for building and delivering a go to market strategy inclusive of marketing and sales materials, events, and thought leadership communicating our diverse set of products and services serving this segment across the enterprise.  

 

Position Overview

The VP, Healthcare is a highly experienced and dynamic healthcare payments sales executive.  The ideal candidate will be adept driving revenue and setting a sales strategy for the healthcare and insurance sector, engaging credibly and effectively with various stakeholders including financial institutions, health tech, merchants, industry groups, and government entities. The role reports to the SVP, Visa Commercial Solutions for North America, and is a member of their leadership team.  In addition, this leader will dotted line into the SVP, Global Large and Middle Market. This leader is instrumental in accelerating business growth in this vertical.

Key Responsibilities

  • This leader will be responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing a sales strategy and pipeline across employee benefits, healthcare and insurance, and identify cross sell opportunities for additional Visa solutions. 
  • Lead the direct team responsible for Employee Benefits and Virtual Card payment product account management and business development. 
  • Manage client and prospect opportunities solutioning a segment approach across various B2C and B2B payment flows.
  • Deliver a US Healthcare go to market and thought leadership strategy including social, media, events, and speaking engagements. 
  • Serve as the advocate for the customer, collaborating with the product team to develop superior solutions. Gain a thorough understanding of the healthcare sector's needs and challenges related to payments and align this knowledge with Visa’s capabilities to address or improve our products and solutions.
  • Work effectively across multiple stakeholders across the B2B Fintech Partnership and Large Middle Market teams in VCS.
  • Manage budget and financial responsibilities
