Technical Presales Specialist

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Location: Bengaluru, Pune

JobType: full-time

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Presales Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in bridging the gap between client needs and our solutions, working closely with sales teams to drive conversions and create compelling value propositions. You’ll leverage deep technical knowledge and strategic thinking to craft customized solutions, deliver impactful presentations, and guide prospects through the presales journey.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Presales Strategy

  • Partner with sales teams to understand client objectives and present strategic, tailored solutions.
  • Deliver persuasive product demos and presentations that effectively communicate the value of our offerings.
  • Develop structured and compelling responses to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders.

Solutioning & Proposal Development

  • Design innovative solutions aligned with client business goals and technology environments.
  • Craft well-balanced technical and commercial proposals that highlight feasibility and business impact.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of solutions with client expectations.
  • Serve as the key technical point of contact throughout the sales cycle.

Market & Product Expertise

  • Stay abreast of market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings.
  • Develop deep understanding of our products, services, and unique value propositions.

Team Enablement & Leadership

  • Mentor junior presales team members and support their development in technical and client-facing skills.
  • Lead internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to team training sessions.

Sales Support

  • Support deal qualification and opportunity prioritization.
  • Ensure smooth transition of client engagements to post-sales and implementation teams.

Required Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years in presales, solution consulting, or similar technical roles.
  • Proven experience supporting complex deals and managing enterprise client relationships.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in key technology areas such as cloud, SaaS, AI, or digital transformation.
  • Ability to design technical architectures and process workflows.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication abilities.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Salesforce, Commercetools).
