Job Title: Senior Finance Manager

Warner Music’s EMEA Shared Service Centre is the home to the financial, tax and administrative functions that provide critical support and best-in-class services to our European Recorded Music and Publishing businesses. The UK Centre embodies the innovative and creative spirit that stems from the company’s deep history in nurturing entrepreneurial thinking and artist-focused innovation, enabling our employees to develop a wide range of skills through cross-function collaboration and development opportunities.

Your role:

Statutory Accounting & Audit Support

• Prepare and oversee the preparation of statutory financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in compliance with IFRS, FRS 102, and GAAP.
• Liaise with external auditors, ensuring a smooth audit process and timely resolution of queries.
• Ensure all financial reporting complies with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports to relevant authorities as required.
• Partner with the internal tax team to ensure full compliance with tax laws across multiple jurisdictions.
• Extract and analyse financial data from various business units to support transfer pricing calculations and decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory

• Work closely with global finance teams to ensure accurate intercompany accounting and reconciliation.
• Provide guidance and training to international affiliates on intercompany and other relevant policies and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a key point of contact for internal and external auditors, providing documentation and explanations as required.

About you:

Accounting Expertise: 

• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS, FRS 102, GAAP)
• Experience in preparing statutory accounts and regulatory filings.

Analytical Skills & Technical Skills: 

• Strong data analysis and financial modelling skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools (SAP S4 experience preferred).

Communication & Stakeholder Management: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, legal, and external advisors.

Project Management & Leadership: 

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in audit liaison and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified, preferably with experience in a practice environment.
• Significant experience within a multinational corporation.
• Demonstrated track record of successful transfer pricing compliance and documentation
