Accounting Team Lead - Turkey

As the Accounting Team Lead at World Business Lenders, you will work closely with the Controller to close the books each month while taking on a variety of responsibilities. Key duties include maintaining vendor invoices, reconciling GL accounts, ensuring timely payments, and managing special projects focused on automation. Your direct involvement will be pivotal in ensuring that all financial operations align smoothly and efficiently within the organization.

To be eligible for the Accounting Team Lead role at World Business Lenders, you should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Additionally, possessing over 5 years of general accounting experience, with a focus on accounts payable, is essential. A strong grasp of IFRS and/or GAAP accounting principles, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, is also required to thrive in this position.

World Business Lenders embraces a fully remote work model, allowing you to work from any location in Turkey. You'll generally work from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Eastern, Monday through Friday, but be prepared for potential flexibility based on operational needs. This setup fosters a dynamic and adaptable work-life balance, enabling you to contribute to the company's success from the comfort of your own home.

While experience with Sage GL and AP is preferred for the Accounting Team Lead position at World Business Lenders, it is not mandatory. However, familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency with tools like Microsoft Excel will dramatically enhance your capability to manage financial records effectively and efficiently, even if you haven't used Sage specifically.
