Learn more at wpengine.com.The Director, Mid-Market Segment Marketing will play a critical role in aligning marketing efforts for the Mid-Market customer segment directly with revenue outcomes. This leader will report to the Sr. Director of Segment Marketing and is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of customer segment go-to-market strategies, integrated marketing campaigns, and cross-functional collaboration with sales and other departments to ensure marketing efforts contribute to pipeline growth, sales and ecommerce success. This role requires someone who understands the craft of marketing, balancing data-driven insights with the art of deeply connecting with customers through storytelling, and who can collaborate cross-functionally to achieve measurable business outcomes.What You’ll Do• The focus of this position is to support the growth of the Mid-Market segment by developing and executing structured, impactful marketing campaigns that drive leads and revenue, and ultimately, market share• The position will focus on the marketing strategy, execution, and revenue ownership for the Mid-Market segment• Develop a deep understand of the Mid-Market segment including their needs, pain points, sub-segments, and unique buyer journey• Partner with Product Marketing to understand the products, features, and functionality and then translate those product messages into storylines and tailored messaging for the Mid-Market segment• Develop a marketing strategy tailored to the Mid-Market segment and then translate that into storytelling, audience messaging and integrated marketing campaigns to attract Mid-Market customers to WP Engine• Brief the larger marketing organization (brand, content, channel, ops) on the campaigns required to support your segment and then manage the development and execution of those campaigns from start to finish• Use data to optimize marketing campaigns and measure ROIRequirements• 8+ years of experience with a focus on revenue marketing and demand generation in high-growth SMB2B environments. Preference for experience working in a high-growth SaaS company with a strong understanding of the SaaS sales cycle.• Deep experience with setting up and deploying Account Based Marketing required• Experience focusing on and driving revenue from a Mid-Market segment• Experience in complex organizations that span both an online/PLG motion and a multi-stakeholder, strategic sale process, with multiple segments and a broad product portfolio• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams• Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. The estimated base salary range for this position is as listed above. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Our salary ranges are determined by job role and responsibilities and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position nationwide. The actual base pay will vary based on various factors including job-related skills and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process.
