Pros
Right now it's a great place to work as a scientist. - Exciting science with real opportunities for impact. - Great co-workers and company culture. - Lots of scientific freedom and independence. - Good compensation and great benefits. - Good work-life balance (few emails or Slack messages on nights and weekends).Cons
Not a lot of formal structure for scientists, which is not necessarily a bad thing. However, it can result in lots of Slack channels and lots of time in meetings coordinating efforts on an ad-hoc basis.
