Management is a little scattered, everything still seems to be running like a brand new company so lots of wrinkles that need smoothing out

Recruiting Practices

Amwell is among several companies recently made aware of a phishing scam involving con artists posing as Amwell recruiters via email, text, phone and social media. So far, the imposters have been creating misleading email accounts, conducting remote “interviews”, and making fake job offers in order to collect personal and financial information. However their tactics going forward may change. Please note that Amwell recruiters only use company emails in the format of FIRSTNAME.LASTNAME@Amwell.com to communicate with candidates. Amwell recruiters will never ask you to share financial information or social security numbers and will not send you money to purchase equipment.  If you are contacted by someone about an open job at Amwell, please verify the domain of the sender’s email address and confirm there is a job posting on our Career Page. Amwell is taking this very seriously and has reported the scam to local law enforcement. If you believe you’ve been a victim of a phishing scam, please visit the Department of Homeland Security’s Cyber Smart Website.
