From Caroline County Bank (1902-1921) to Union Bank & Trust (1921-2019) to Atlantic Union Bank (2019 and beyond), our chapters are rich in history. It’s been a great opportunity to serve consumers and businesses for 117 years long and counting. And now with an expanded presence across the region – from Northern Virginia, to the mountains to the beaches of the Outer Banks – we’re able to conveniently be there for even more.

At Atlantic Union Bank, our teammates can support matters they truly care about. There are opportunities to participate in teammate-led councils and initiatives that serve the needs of our internal and external communities, and help provide teammates with a greater sense of belonging and purpose.

All teammates are allocated 16 hours each year to participate in volunteer efforts in schools and local organizations, support charitable initiatives or get involved in fundraisers.

Throughout the years, even with the pandemic, Atlantic Union Bank has:

  • Launched services and products for those working to re-establish their credit history, as well as those who serve, like military personnel, educators, healthcare professionals and first responders

  • Invested millions in our communities (through affordable housing in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods, small business and economic development)

Protecting our planet through green initiatives

Protecting the environment is our responsibility and we take it seriously. Atlantic Union Bank is helping to protect our planet today and for generations to come by taking proactive measures.

In 2021, we recycled 392,973 pounds of paper through our secure shred program. By recycling, we avoided 284,513 pounds of CO2 emissions, conserved 982,435 cubic yards of landfill space, preserved 3,297 trees, saved 5,385,905 gallons of water and saved 444,060 kWh of electricity.

Tellers

Are you someone who loves meeting new people and building customer connections? If you’ve ever served in a retail or customer service role, becoming a teller is a great way to use your retail skills to transition into the banking industry. You’ll enjoy working in a field where service is number one, build close connections to teammates and customers, and experience the 9-5 lifestyle. Universal Bankers

Universal Banker is a cross-platform position where teammates create positive customer relationships by effectively communicating a clear understanding of the benefits of Atlantic Union Bank’s products and services. In this role, with previous banking experience, you can uncover and provide solutions for our customer’s banking needs, promote the branch’s overall growth by creating and maintaining customer connections, and perform teller transactions.

Branch Managers

Branch managers are responsible for driving teammates to provide a best in class customer experience while providing solutions for customers through needs based conversation to meet their financial needs. A branch manager will direct, lead and coach teammates to drive sales performance and help teammates achieve their personal goals. You must have prior sales management experience, a passion for leadership and a drive to help customers live their best financial lives possible.
