Our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) statement confirms Betsson Group’s commitment towards supporting and sustaining an environment where all employees are welcomed, respected, appreciated and able to be themselves - without biases based on differences of any kind. Founded in 1963, Betsson Group is one of the largest gaming groups in the world. We have been through a multitude of phases, markets, and strategies and these have shaped us into the organization we are today. Through these 55+ years, we have always been powered by our people.
In 2018 we embarked on a journey to focus further on the employee experience that we offer. We wanted Betsson to offer an amazing journey – from start to finish, and beyond – to all those who join us. Our goal was to enhance our standing as an Employer of Choice within the industry. We started by revisiting our company culture, as we believe that this is at the core. We launched a new company strategy, which put talented people as one of the core pillars and we also revised our values to focus on the three most important to us - One Betsson, Passion and Fair Play. These values are at the foundation of Betsson and act as a compass for us in everything we do. The One Betsson value is all about how we work together, challenge and support each other. One of the behaviours connected with this value is ‘respectful’, which stands for how we treat one another.
We want all our Betssonites to champion diversity and inclusion and together create and nurture an environment where everybody feels like they belong. This also forms part of our Code of Conduct, which among others, states that we give everyone the same opportunity to develop their skills and qualifications and to provide an equal and respectful workplace.
