The diversity of our employees, their backgrounds, experiences, talents, knowledge, creativity, and the appreciation of all their individual differences are the foundation for our competitive advantage. We believe that a company culture focused on diversity and inclusion is the key driver of creativity, innovation, and invention. Our ability to successfully service our customers in more than 10 cement plants, more than 54 strategically located distribution terminals, 50 aggregate quarries and 269 ready-mix concrete plants is fueled by and dependent on our ability to embed diversity and inclusion practices in our over 8,000 team members’ company culture and business models.
We recognize how diversity and inclusion play a significant role in our company, ultimately benefiting our key stakeholders, including our own workforce, our customers, our supply chain, and the communities where we live and operate.
Our Diversity & Inclusion Mission
"We take great pride in our workforce diversity. Our integration of people with different backgrounds, education levels, perspectives, and life experiences makes our company stronger. Our people are critical to our long-term success, and their diversity is what makes us more competitive, resilient, and better able to adapt to an ever-changing global environment."

Building a robust bench strength by promoting diversity through recruiting for our entry-level development programs: Talent Development Program and Internship Develop Program.
Bringing awareness to our operations across our company about diversity and inclusion topics by strengthening our communications.
Creating policies to promote a more diverse company such as the Workplace Diversity and Inclusion Global Policy, Global Recruitment Policy, and Diversity and Inclusion position paper.

Code of Ethics
Creative, strategic, and entrepreneurial; are a few traits that symbolize our company's culture. CEMEX is a challenging place to work and a great place to develop the skills necessary to create value for and cement lasting relationships with customers, colleagues, investors, communities, and other key stakeholders.
One of our key priorities is to empower our people to focus their energy and creativity on the new instead of the usual.
Our rapid growth and geographic expansion also underscore the benefits of a diverse workforce composed of people with different styles, capabilities, and backgrounds. Consequently, we are committed to developing and maintaining a stimulating, healthy, and productive work environment in which everyone is treated impartially and respectfully.
From our talent-development programs to our performance-evaluation model, we focus on developing and reinforcing our company's individual competencies - those traits, attitudes, and abilities that distinguish CEMEX people and define our culture.
The code governs our relationships with all of our stakeholders, workplace safety, health, environmental responsibility, protection of confidential information, conflicts of interest, financial controls and records, and preservation of assets.
Through our ethics committees, training programs, and secure internal communications channels, we ensure awareness and enforcement of the code. We periodically evaluate its provisions and update it when necessary.
