3. Commitment to Client, Colleague, Company and Community Wellness:

a. Client Wellness – We understand that client wellness goes beyond the behavioral health needs of the individuals we serve. Health and wellbeing are achieved only when all aspects of one’s life is considered. Chrysalis Health has adopted SAMHSA’s (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Service Administration) Eight Dimensions of Wellness as our guide to client wellbeing. Together with our clients we create and follow a treatment plan that includes emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual health goals.

b. Colleague Wellness – At Chrysalis Health, colleague wellness exists when our employees (i) experience a satisfying, creative, fun, caring, and rewarding workplace, (ii) are provided with opportunities for recognition as well as for personal and professional growth and (iii) achieve work-life balance. The primary responsibility of our leaders is to nurture the wellbeing of our employees. History

Chrysalis Health is proud to be one of the leading providers of behavioral healthcare services for children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Florida.

Founded originally in 1995 as a small behavioral health group home for children, The Chrysalis Center began providing a full range of community mental health services in March, 1999. Over time, Chrysalis Health evolved in response to a growing need for effective behavioral healthcare for children and families in our community. Chrysalis Health was founded on the concept of developing quality services for those in need, where services were void or lacking.  

Today, Chrysalis Health is a comprehensive behavioral healthcare organization serving people of all ages throughout the state of Florida. Chrysalis Health employees nearly 1,000 dedicated team members, including therapists, counselors, targeted case managers, psychologists, psychiatrists,  administrators, and support staff, who care for those we serve in schools, homes, and throughout our communities. Chrysalis Health has helped tens of thousands of people realize their full potential through outstanding mental health, behavioral and substance use programs.  We strive to meet the needs of our communities through innovative and compassionate approaches to behavioral healthcare.

Accreditations

Chrysalis Health maintains accreditation with The Council on Accreditation (COA). COA is an international, independent, not-for-profit, child and family service and behavioral accrediting organization. The value and credibility of COA accreditation are formally recognized in over 100 distinct instances in 44 different states, the District of Columbia and British Columbia, Canada.

WHAT IS ACCREDIDTATION?

Accreditation is the formal evaluation of an organization or program against best practice standards. It is both a status and a process:

As a Status:
It signifies that an organization or program meets standards of quality set forth by the accrediting body.

As a Process:
It involves an in-depth self-review of an organization or program against currently accepted best practice standards, an onsite visit by an evaluation team comprised of experts, and a subsequent review and decision by the accrediting body

Accreditation signifies that an organization or program is effectively managing its resources and providing the best possible services to all of its stakeholders.
