DMG is a place you want to be. Our industry is tough but that’s what makes the work so rewarding.

12/26/2022 - Support Staff

Pros

The growth potential is high for the company and individuals. The company is leveraging the gig economy to be the Uber of FM, driving access to work that smaller companies only dream of. The work in and of itself makes you want to be here, the company is on the verge of something huge, and you can feel it. The industry is a tough one to work and perform in but that’s what makes the work meaningful knowing that we get to provide an experience to our industry that few if any deliver in the way that we do.

Cons

It is a demanding industry and a lot of the busy schedule and on call shifts you read about do exist but it’s because our industry is a 24/7, 365 industry. If our customers can not call on us to get things done in the middle of a storm or a pharmacy drive thru then they do not have the peace of mind we strive to provide. Not every team gets it’s perfect but they try to. We are also in high growth mode. Growing pains are real as we look to scale so cons are mostly the busy schedule some in maturity in some management roles but overall it comes with the territory and the organization asks for feedback often and when it’s provided they look to address the concerns for all its stakeholders. Some solutions take longer than other or are just a part of the reality of trying to be a growing privately held company.

Diversity is ingrained in DMG’s culture, and that diversity leads to better and more innovation. We are an equal opportunity employer with regular training activities and a constant drive to learn more and be better. We are proud to have a multilingual customer service department that speaks English, Spanish and Mandarin. We prioritize diversity in age as well, taking on high school and college interns that can grow in the company to eventually take on leadership and managerial roles.

DMG strives to bring in employees of different backgrounds. A diverse group of employees allows for different perspectives to be weighed in decision-making. It also naturally builds a welcoming culture that makes our employees feel comfortable at work. DMG has taken great strides in accomplishing this over the years. We are not only lucky to have employees from all 50 states but from various countries as well.

DMG is home to hundreds of product and engineering employees who are based out of our India location. This talented group is tasked with creating groundbreaking technology that will take DMG to new levels.

Our culture is unmatched

Our culture is founded on trust and communication. We rely on each other and push each other to improve and grow. We work hard – we are revolutionizing an industry, after all – but we make sure to take just as much time for relaxation and fun.

Our company culture isn’t confined to the office walls, either. We have regular company events and outings, whether it’s our annual awards celebration, team trips to a baseball game or go kart track, volunteer days or companywide picnics. We love being part of Greater Cincinnati and exploring all this community has to offer.

We built a brand new HQ

In June of 2023, We moved across the river into the heart of downtown Cincinnati. Our new office will be located on the top two floors of the historic Foundry building on Fountain Square.

This move will create endless opportunities for our company and our amazing employees. For years, we have enjoyed a view of the Cincinnati skyline from across the river. Soon, we will be right in the center of it all.

We are breaking new ground

Facility maintenance might not sound like a high-tech space, but we are leading the industry with our newest innovation: DMG Pro.

DMG Pro is a brand-new fulfillment engine that matches providers with the best jobs available based on location, skill set and price. It’s a win for our customers, who get the very best service possible. And it’s a win for our providers, who get better jobs and more opportunities to grow their business.

DMG Pro is desktop and mobile friendly, and we are building it from the ground up. We hired new Chief Product Officer Kumar Srinivasan to lead the charge, along with more than 100 new engineers, IT specialists and data analysts. And the count just keeps growing.

DMG Pro is the future of our company. In fact, it’s the future of the entire facility maintenance industry.

Internships and recent graduates

Our 10- to 12-week internship program is designed to kickstart the careers of college students eager to learn. We have full- and part-time opportunities, lining up with spring, summer and fall class schedules at local universities.

We have open career opportunities for recent college graduates in various departments throughout our company ranging from operations, finance, recruitment, product & engineering, and more!

Hear from our employees

Brittany Yeager | Human Resources Business Partner

"One of my favorite parts about DMG is the growth. I see new hires and promotions practically every day. People are being mentored and developed and are taking on new challenges. Nobody is stuck at DMG."

Scott Siener | National Account Vice President

“There are a lot of things I love about my job – the flexibility, the freedom to try new things – but I think my favorite part is this: I’ve never woken up and not wanted to go to work. To me, that’s proof I’ve found my home.”

Ashley Thibodeaux | Regional Manager

“The DMG Leadership training program provided me with new and innovative ideas to keep my team motivated and engaged.  It also allowed me to be introspective in understanding my leadership style and how, while we each have our own styles, there is always room for improvement. This program is great for employees moving into new roles, as well as both new and established leaders in our organization.”

Matthew Dugan | Marketing Coordinator

"From the very start, DMG has given me the opportunity to develop skill sets I never knew I had. DMG does an amazing job at exposing interns to relevant projects that not only ensure they are part of the team, but also assist in developing their careers. Working at DMG has been a challenging experience, but an empowering one I know I will be thankful for as I advance in my career."

Katherine Hummel Sandoval | Instructional Designer

"As a DMG intern on the Training and Learning team, I've been able to jump into new projects from Day 1. I've seen all sides of training, from new-hire onboarding to team-specific training, to creating professional development resources. I've learned so much in such a short time, and I'm so excited to build on the skills I've gained as I pursue a career in learning and development."
