We want to recruit, employ and retain the best and most qualified employees. And that means we offer more than just a paycheck. We have a generous benefits package that includes health, dental and vision insurance; vacation and sick days; a 401(k) package; a $1,000 employee referral bonus; and some benefits you won't find anywhere else.
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT
Employees pursuing additional education and training can be reimbursed up to $5,250 per calendar year. In many cases, even employee dependents are eligible for up to $2,000 annually.
LIFE EVENT COVERAGE
Life happens, and no employee should be left on their own. We help employees with everything from daycare searches to finding care for an elderly parent.
FIRST HOME PURCHASE
Farm Credit will reimburse an eligible employee for normal closing cost expenses associated with the purchase of their first home.
Financial Services Training Program
Trainees are enrolled in Farm Credit Mid-America’s fast-paced, year-round training program to become a Financial Services Officer (FSO) — a competitive, goal-oriented sales role. Responsibilities include servicing potential and existing customers through the offer of competitive loan offerings, building relationships with these customers and meeting their needs. Successful FSOs maintain a positive presence in the rural areas they serve by becoming involved in community organizations and events.
Training generally lasts 12 to 18 months. During this time, trainees are assigned a field office location with a partner/mentor who will help guide their development. Trainees also complete course work and attend classroom training every four to six weeks at our office in Louisville, Kentucky.
Farm Credit recruiters often visit colleges throughout Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee. Find out when we will be on your campus by following us on Facebook and Twitter. Our recruiters also often sponsor campus events tied to agriculture.
ScholarshipsEach year Farm Credit awards more than $100,000 in scholarships. In fact, Farm Credit has provided scholarships to our community's students studying agriculture, finance or an agriculture-related field, for more than a quarter of a century.
