Pros

Great thought leadership conversations with fellow analysts and research leaders. Excellent opportunity to work hard and explore key topics with clients and vendors. Good collaboration and good leadership with ok benefits and salary.

Cons

Tough for the work-life balance due to demands from clients, consultants, management, and peers. Sometimes it is a challenge in getting good content editors and input on research ideas.
