Pros

Not a lot of people are lucky enough to say this, but I really love my job here. I always feel like a valued employee, and my coworkers at GigFinesse have taught me a lot since I was hired as an intern a year ago. I believe that I've found my calling in live music and A&R, and am pleased to have found that in a startup with a very promising future ahead. I actually look forward to going to work each day and appreciate my extremely flexible hours. My friendly and smart colleagues are also quite a plus! Additionally, I enjoy working with and helping local artists, and especially love watching their music careers grow (some to considerable success in just one year). I'm really grateful for my time so far at GigFinesse, and am looking forward to what's ahead.

Cons

Since GigFinesse is a tech startup, the product team is constantly updating our online platform to make it as smooth and efficient as possible. I regularly give feedback to them on improvements that are usually updated or fixed very quickly. Our small but mighty New York team could always use some extra hands, but I don't think we are understaffed either. I find our new venue prospects both in NYC and in other cities across the country to be very exciting, and hope we onboard new venues that match our values and goals just like the venues with which we currently work.
