We prepared for our launch and clarified our action plan through company-wide courageous conversations, in which team members could freely share experiences with and perspectives on racism and injustice. The Vontier ID&E Council is our mechanism for driving progress across the business in the form of awareness, skill-building, communication, and community outreach. And eight employee resource groups create powerful focal points for connection, community, and advocacy:

We’re starting out with a clear organization-wide commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG). We value action, and we chose this framework for its emphasis on measurable results. 

This commitment extends from our Fortive roots and the world-changing work our companies are already doing. We’re expanding the infrastructure for electric vehicles and new fuel sources. We’re fine-tuning fleet efficiency and maximizing transit capacity through advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. We’re keeping roads safer and clearing the way for emergency vehicles. We’re harnessing the power of the Vontier Business System to reduce waste, water, and energy. And as we develop our ESG framework and goals, we’re committed to doing more, doing better, and holding ourselves accountable.
