Education Success

Havenpark is now offering multiple competitive educational scholarships to eligible residents of our communities. These scholarships range from $2,500 up to $10,000 per year!

Resident Events

To support our mission of creating carring communities, we hold regular events that allow our residents to cultivate mutual feelings of respect, while also inviting opportunities for friendship and fellowship.

In 2022, Havenpark Communities awarded 19 new academic scholarships to residents. The 2022 competitive scholarship application period ran from December 15, 2021, to January 31, 2022, with about half of the applicants rewarded with scholarships. Winners were awarded up to $10,000 annually to cover post-secondary expenses for colleges, universities, trade, and vocational schools. Recipients represent 13 Havenpark Communities spanning 12 states: Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming.  In addition to geographic diversity, recipients reflected differing educational pursuits.  A little more than two-thirds of recipients are attending four-year colleges or universities, and about one-third are attending a two-year or vocational-technical school. 

In addition, these scholarship recipients take part in the Havenpark Scholars Mentorship Program.  As part of this program, each scholarship recipient is matched with a Havenpark Communities team member and the two meet monthly for one-on-one educational and career-related support and guidance.  Scholarship recipients also attend regular educational webinar sessions curated by our Director of Education Success.
