Pros

I've worked in the A/E community for years and have never worked at a firm like HGA. I trust the leadership, the company's values and ethos align with my own. I work with so many genuinely good people who care about me and the work I do, who support me and want to see me succeed.

We are a design firm made up of individuals. Specifically, more than 900 passionate, creative, generous people who want to make our world a better place. That’s a lot of potential to create impact in our local communities. Inspired by our founders’ early work in education and the arts, and propelled by current employees’ commitment to civic engagement, HGA invests time, resources, and expertise to create positive local impact. We believe it’s not just corporate responsibility: it’s human responsibility. 

HGA Community Action began in 2015 as a grassroots, employee-initiated effort to enhance the social impact of our work across the country. By donating the firm’s time, talents, and resources in close collaboration with local organizations, HGA is creating positive change in our communities while providing opportunities to learn and grow as a team.

HGA Coast to Coast

From a basement office shared by our three founders in 1954, we have grown and expanded into 12 national offices with more than 900 employees. Multidisciplinary teams collaborate across the company to deliver local and sector-specific expertise backed by the resources of a national company.  From coast to coast we work together to make a positive, lasting impact for clients in healthcare, arts and culture, community, corporate, education, government, and energy markets 

Offices include Minneapolis and Rochester, Minnesota; Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin; San Francisco, Sacramento, San Diego, San Jose and Los Angeles, California; Boston, Massachusetts; Alexandria, Virginia; and Washington DC.
