Great camaraderie and great science. I particularly enjoyed the “flat” hierarchy, that favors the clash of ideas, not status. RAs and Senior Scientists collaborate instead of a top-down approach. Also, the lab is very well outfitted.Cons
C-suite is a mess. They aren’t bad people but they’re very inexperienced and painfully insecure. This leads to siloed conversations with limited (read inaccurate) information. Your project can be canceled in the final stages despite a willing paying customer. You can be fired for publicly disagreeing with a founder. So many turn-on-a-dime decisions that had to be immediately walked back under the slightest of scrutiny.
