Flexible hours - the only positive

Pros

Hours are flexible and they hire without interview or physical/drug test.

Cons

- no support whatsoever while on the job - almost constant miscommunication from management regarding benefits, trainings, regulations, etc. - health insurance is insanely expensive as Maxim pays no portion at all. - offered health insurance does not meet the minimum requirements per ACA - no hospital, imaging, or mental health benefits. Maxim offer no health insurance that meets ACA requirements. - health, vision, dental, & life insurance are contingent on maintaining enough hours worked per month, so if you get sick and miss a week, they take away your insurance for 3 months. - upon hiring, I was told they provide PTO - somehow after 8 months working full time, I still have no available PTO, and no explanation as to why or when it will come. - Maxim does not pay mileage while most other IDD service providers do. - you will never get a raise for this position without a literal act of congress raising rates for IDD service providers, according to Maxim.
