I love Mercy

Positive outlook

Pros

I've been with Mercy for over 3 years and a team lead for nearly 2, and Mercy has been an absolutely fantastic place for me to work. My manager and supervisor are incredibly supportive and encouraging, I have the best co-workers I've ever dreamed of, and I love the work we do serving our patients.

Cons

I wish positions paid better. It seems that across the board Mercy is paying less than other comparative jobs I've been hearing about.

Mercy is an equal opportunity employer valuing all job seekers, including individuals with disabilities. We're proud to foster a culture that cherishes every person as created in the image of God. We believe race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, nationality, status as a protected veteran and the other unique characteristics that make us who we are should have nothing to do with our hiring practices. Join us on our journey to continue upholding an environment where inclusion is valued and leveraged to create a more diverse and stronger workforce.

Mercy's Heritage

The Mercy story begins at an unlikely time in an unlikely place with an unlikely woman. In 1827, our founder, Catherine McAuley, opened the first House of Mercy in Dublin, Ireland, to help alleviate the health care, education and employment needs of the city’s poor. Within a few years, her ministry became a religious order. Thanks to her and generations of Sisters of Mercy, today more than 250,000 people in hospitals, schools and community programs worldwide carry on the mission of Mercy.

Why Join Us

Mercy, one of the 20 largest U.S. health systems and named the top large system in the U.S. for excellent patient experience by NRC Health, serves millions annually with nationally recognized quality care and one of the nation’s largest Accountable Care Organizations. Mercy is a highly integrated, multi-state health care system including more than 40 acute care, managed and specialty (heart, children’s, orthopedic and rehab) hospitals, convenient and urgent care locations, imaging centers and pharmacies. Mercy has 900 physician practices and outpatient facilities, more than 4,000 physicians and advanced practitioners and more than 45,000 co-workers serving patients and families across Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma. Mercy also has clinics, outpatient services and outreach ministries in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.
