Pros
I'm a part of the marketing team at Mile and I must say that personnel and project management has been really good. My skillset was analysed early and I was given projects in various verticals that posed a healthy challenge. I have also been encouraged and supported to improve on my concern areas. This has led to a direct improvement in my professional skills. Everyone in the team is given a chance to lead projects or specific parts of a project and show positive results. Performance is measured purely on a numbers basis, making the review process very objective. There is a strong grievance addressal framework and the CEO is very hands on too, making it easy to share concerns, feedback, and ideas. Pay has always been on time. No issues there. Pay scale is good too compared to the rest of the industry. Decent benefits. Recently added mental health support for employees. The work policies are also very good here. There is a high-degree of flexibility. No cap on leaves within reason.Cons
It is a niche industry and there is a learning curve in terms of product and industry know-how. There is ample support offered to new employees . A robust training module, a learning partner and regular checks throughout the first few weeks are offered. But, unless you are willing to dedicate time and effort into learning the industry, it could pose a challenge, especially in the tech and marketing teams. So be ready for a 2-3 week long learning process before you start diving into everyday tasks.
