John Street is an award-winning entrepreneur with a history of building successful cloud businesses for more than 20 years. As one of the first cloud founders in the industry, Street has built five businesses that garnered Inc. 500 status.

Revolutionary in his thinking, Street founded USA.NET, Inc, the first cloud email provider, in 1997. At its peak, USA.NET managed more than 33 million mailboxes on behalf of its customers, including American Express, Palm, Netscape, Register.com and Goodyear.

In 2002, he went on to build MX Logic, one of the world’s-largest cloud email security companies. MX Logic was so successful that it was acquired by McAfee, Inc., in 2009 for $109 million. 

When Street was CEO for MX Logic, he worked with the largest distributors in the industry and quickly recognized that distribution was broken for the cloud. This spurred a new idea to build a cloud-first company that would add more value to businesses in the IT channel, and rapidly increase cloud adoption in the market.

In 2012, Pax8 was born and has quickly become the fastest-growing cloud distributor in the market. And the best is yet to come.
