PSI makes it easier for people in the developing world to lead healthier lives and plan the families they desire by marketing affordable products and services.
Pros
Dedicated, creative, and intelligent workforce. Flexible work schedule and location. Industry meeting or leading benefits. Every year the office closes for the last week of December which is just awesome! Teams know how to be serious when neccesary and when to laugh. Overall, best place I have ever worked.Cons
As a nonprofit, the margins are razor thin. The money PSI has is spread over multiple areas (comp, leave, benefits, retirement, etc.) and packages very by geography so not everyone is going to be happy with their total rewards package. The workload can be intense. Working across multiple time zones supporting multiple countries can stretch the work life fit, but the organization is constantly looking for ways to work smarter (new ERP on the horizon!).
