Pros
Qualia really has no parallel in the industry and that's putting it mildly. The software is so far beyond the competition that it actually kind of causes problems in a way. The biggest challenge in selling Qualia is that many prospects don't have any idea what they're missing out on. Imagine being the only person in the world celling cell phones and hearing people say "but yeah, I've got a cordless phone... it's the same thing right?" Good problem to have I suppose. The company is well run. Execs know what they're doing and are very transparent. Like many others, we had to make cuts a few months back but CEO took full ownership and made no excuses. And, unlike so many others, the strategy was cut once and deep and be done with it. So we haven't had the completely depressing "layoffs every few months" thing that so many of my colleagues are dealing with at other companies. Very fair comp structure also. This has improved steadily over the years so ignore anyone who says otherwise.Cons
This is an old school industry and we're still viewed as the new kid, even 8 years later. There is definitely a some negative perception about Qualia out there from some of the "in" crowd that resents that we showed up to the title party uninvited. Don't get me wrong, nobody complains about the product. There's zero dispute there. And the negative perceptions are just that... perceptions. And not even accurate ones. But it can be a challenge from time to time on the sales side.Career-Launching Companies list, Wealthfront, 2021 Best Places to Work (Bay Area, Austin), Built In, 2021
