Tremendous opportunity to do meaningful work and customize your career

Pros

Riveron is a business advisory firm which resembles that big four but doesn't have the layers of such larger firms (or the limited scope of smaller ones). In just a few months, I've been able to quickly get involved in a variety of projects and activities and am seeing meaningful impact in my work. The leadership has also been incredibly welcoming and supportive to new hires and there is a great culture in the company - both holistically as well as in the local offices.

Cons

None to share at this time.

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DEI) Commitment:

To Our People: At Riveron, we believe in helping our professionals reach their unimagined career potential. Through our active investment in diversity, equity, and inclusion, we apply a thoughtful and thorough approach to the policies and procedures that impact how our people show up each day, the support they feel, and the resources they are provided for growth. We are committed to continually improving our culture, attracting, developing, retaining top talent, and enhancing our overall people experience.

DEI Programs & Initiatives:

At Riveron, we encourage an environment of belonging that focuses on the experience we provide our people and clients, our approach to attracting and retaining diverse talent, and how we scale and grow the business. We welcome and embrace our responsibility to cultivate an environment of inclusion and equity.

We demonstrate our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through the many opportunities provided for our professionals to engage through our employee resource groups (ERGs), internal network building through cultural celebrations and observations, professional development opportunities, cultural awareness and allyship, and community meetings.

Our grassroots groups and programs led by our people include the following:

RiverAPID (Asian American & Pacific Islander) is committed to providing support for Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) professionals, education on the cultural diversity of the AAPI heritage, and networking opportunities while building community.

RiverBEST (Black Employee Support Team) is committed to fostering an environment of belonging for Black professionals in their pursuit of professional development, cultural awareness, and advocacy, aligning with Riveron's continued efforts to drive diversity, equity, and inclusion.

RiverMil (Active Military, Veterans, and Families) is committed to providing support for veterans, active military, and their families by raising awareness of the unique obstacles our veterans and military face, engaging in service for our local military communities, and recruiting veterans and military spouses and investing in their professional development within the firm.

RiverOut (LGBTQ+) is committed to providing engagement, support, and mentorship for LGBTQ+ professionals. Promoting Riveron's inclusive and accepting work environment and demonstrating our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion to professionals, candidates, and clients.

RiverWIN (Women's Internal Network) is committed to promoting longevity and leadership of women at the firm by providing a support system by women, for women and increasing allyship among our male colleagues.

The Other Side invites us to understand better what it is like to walk in someone else's shoes. Through panel discussions, keynote addresses, and small-group dialogue, we will engage on several topics designed to help us better understand one another.

Build Leaders of Tomorrow, Today is a program led by RiverWIN, it serves as a vehicle for increased engagement among women creating an opportunity to build their internal network and foster relationships. It creates a unique experience to engage in open and honest dialogue with leaders and peers on important topics in small forums. During these discussions we focus on experiential learning, discussing important leadership skills, tangible ways to develop these skills, how to translate them into career progression and how to support others in fostering leadership development.

Access to Leadership through lunch and learn discussions, mentorship, and small group discussions focused on skill building and knowledge sharing provide our professionals with an opportunity to hear from our leaders and gain their perspective on how to advance their careers.

P.A.L. (Peer Approach to Learning) provides an opportunity for professionals to learn from each other at the peer level, build relationships across Riveron, and share approaches to day-to-day work. This program aids in developing foundational consulting skills and provides an opportunity for institutional knowledge sharing, strengthening the talent pipeline.

Community meetings led by the employee resource groups (ERGs) create a space for internal networking, getting to know professionals, establishing a safe space where professionals can discuss things that are important to them, hear of the experiences of their colleagues, and continue the discussions that we are having at a national level in a more intimate setting. These meetings ensure that we are not having these conversations once a year during months of recognition but continuing them throughout the year.

We remain focused on taking a thoughtful approach to this work. Understanding that this is a marathon, not a sprint, we are committed to growing in this space daily. With our steadfast approach to how we will continue to retain the best talent, provide opportunities for continued engagement and development, help our professionals to achieve their #unimagined potential, and finally attract the best talent.

Hear from Our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Leaders and Employee Resource Group Leaders who share the range of opportunities for them to connect, build relationships, develop their skills, and the continuous evolvement that we look forward to.
