At our first-ever Scoot symposium, we reiterated our desire to foster a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive team that reflects the communities we serve. Our current goals for representation within the company involve:

  1. Race
    • Each team serving a market should be representative of the racial demographics in that market.
  2. Language
    • One in three people living in America will speak Spanish as a first or second language by 2050. Our goal is 40% of our workforce by 2025.
  3. Gender
    • We aspire to be 67% female and 33% male while being inclusive to non-binary individuals.

In order to reach those goals, we currently have two focus areas for our internal HQ team:

  1. Hiring diversely
    • Intentionally growing diverse candidate pools across race, gender, and language.
    • Being innovative in how and where we recruit while relying on varied and new networks.
    • Not rushing the process. Hiring A-players that meet the majority of our criteria can take longer and we're okay with that.
  2. Promoting with equity
    • While promotions are based on merit, performance, and business need, we will keep a bird's eye view of promotion trends to ensure we're promoting equitably across the demographics of our team so we can achieve diverse representation across all levels of the company.
    • Ensuring that all team members have the access they need to effective coaching, development opportunities, and career pathways.
    • Leaders will have regular conversations with their team members about their growth opportunities in the organization.

Unlimited PTO
We encourage you to take 3 weeks off minimum! But it’s up to you, because we know employees perform better when they’ve had time to rest and recharge.

Medical, dental + 401K
Scoot covers 100% of a base medical plan, and 75% of dental and vision. We help you plan for retirement by providing a 5% match on 401k.

Modern office + tech
Expect an open floor plan, with standing desks and bright colors. We provide Macbooks and Scoot swag to all employees on their first day!

Flexible work schedule
Scoot offers flexibility and remote options for employees, whenever possible. We also enjoy summer hours during June-August.
