At SmithGroup, we are deeply committed to creating a culture that promotes equity, diversity and inclusion. We have a board-level Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee that is made up of staff members from across the firm and represents a wide range of personal and professional experiences. This team serves as advisors to our senior leadership team and is committed to ending systemic racism. We also have an JEDI Scholarship Program that has provided college students from underrepresented groups with $180,000 of tuition support since 2018. These efforts are just a small representation of our efforts to create a firm culture that is more equitable, diverse and inclusive. We don’t have all of the answers, but we have made a commitment to finding them.
