Great company culture in an exciting feild

Pros

The company culture at Solera is very supportive and collaborative. It's a 100% virtual company, so that can be challenging. But Solera makes a point at having regular company communications, virtual events, town halls and all the tools you need to be successful remotely. I've worked my whole career in healthcare technology, and I'm very excited about the Solera product offering and feel that it is making a meaningful impact on people's health and the healthcare system in the US. The feedback loop with the member is really tight, as we help support adoption and success of digital wellness apps. That makes working here very rewarding as we can see every day how many people are using their apps and what measurable difference the apps are making in their day-to-day health. It's a fun place to work too, with light hearted segments in every town hall and plenty of opportunities to get to know your fellow co-workers.

Cons

Compared to where I worked before, Solera is a small company. That has a lot of benefits in how fast we can move and adapt to the market. But it also brings challenges when it comes to resourcing. It took a bit of getting used to for me, coming from a large company background. Although after adjusting, I'm super comfortable now in a small company setting and don't know if I'll ever go back to the mega-companies!
