Pros
- The managers are by far the best part. I've had 2 managers in my time at Squarespace. Both have been extremely helpful and supportive. They are advocates for their team and push us to take part in other projects and opportunities. - There is opportunity for growth if you perform well. - The teams are great. There is support between employees and we work as a team. - There is a big respect towards our customers which creates a nice atmosphere at work. Working with customers can be challenging but the team + manager have your back. - Great Dublin office, happy hours, health insurance, company events. - Good pay - Transparent leadership - Flexibility to work from home/in the office - Good training. More training is provided in areas where you are stuck/strugglingCons
- Less opportunity for part time employees than for full time employees. - The work may feel repetitive at times (troubleshooting the same issues)Diversity refers to all of the ways we see and experience the world, with respect for differences in race, gender identity and expression, age, ethnicity, disabilities (seen and unseen), family or marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, education, religion, and all the ways we may identify as a community. Inclusion is the state of being heard, recognized, and valued. It’s about creating a sense of belonging for every individual and a trust that “you deserve to be here.”
At Squarespace, our Diversity & Inclusion efforts focus on uplifting the experiences and perspectives of underrepresented groups and doing the work that draws out the best in all of us.

For us engineers, this not only means that our product is visually beautiful, but it also means that the architecture and the code behind it is equally beautiful. We go through as many iterations as needed to build the right product, and sometimes spend days, weeks, or even months thinking through the proper solution to a problem before beginning the execution. We are proud of our work and in this blog you can learn about the ups and downs of our engineering endeavors.
