Great science, but incompetent management

Pros

The people on the ground (or in the lab rather) are super supportive and kind! They host guest lectures and they are super informative and very well organised! They have the latest kit and state of the art labs!

Cons

At first, I loved Sygnature a lot. I thought they cared about their people. I was more than willing to look the other way for the lower salaries compared to the rest of the industry, despite branding themselves as a "premium CRO", The directors and the board are beyond incompetent. Aug 2023 they bought out several companies in Canada and led people onto believing the company was doing well. April 2024, they announced voluntary redundancies (and even more happened afterwards). They announced they would be cancelling the annual bonuses/payrises for all SCIENTISTS. You know, the people actually doing the ground work!! Yet HR/Finance/IT got a £2k bonus and none of those departments got affected by redundancies? It's embarrassing and insulting.
