Pros

SPA offers great opportunities to work on some of the more impactful jobs in the DOD contracting community. They allow employees to work on multiple projects to gain broad experiences and provide OJT for junior personnel to learn and advance their careers. The area that I work in has mentoring opportunities for younger employees as well as training opportunities for learning new skills that are based on my professional development goals rather than just focused on the specific job being performed.

Cons

SPA is growing fast so some of the managers are stretched thin at times.
