Developing efficient, transparent, & ethical government.
Pros
They hire good people - I've worked with a lot of great TCGers, both in terms of skills and personality, in my 5+ years with the company. Management cares about employee happiness and is very receptive to feedback. They are a telework-first company. They seek to pay people fairly and that has been my experience. As a certified B Corporation the company has committed to doing good in the world rather than focusing solely on profit, which I greatly appreciate.Cons
As a company that does primarily government contracting, an employee's individual working situation (e.g. with regard to telework) may vary depending on the client.Starting a new job can be intimidating. TCG wants you to be successful and comfortable in your new role, fast. Here’s what we put in place to make that a reality.
Health and Medical
In addition to the Medical, dental, and vision insurance, TCG’s health benefits include the option of flexible spending account and a Health Savings account.

Vacation/Social
Time away from work is essential, so we help you make the most of it.
Our Core Values are:
We are intelligent
We think before we act. We know that the future is informed and shaped by our decisions today, so we carefully consider potential and desirable outcomes before talking. And we recognize that getting help is the surest sign that we understand the situation.
We invest ourselves in the project
Our clients love what they do because they have the ability to change the world. The projects we do for them reflect that, and are important to the United States…and often to mankind as a whole. We know what we do will have a significant impact, so we devote ourselves to making sure our projects thrive.
We prove our value
We know our clients, our employees, our co-workers, our communities, and our families have a choice of whether they share their lives with us. To keep them, we must prove our value whenever the opportunity presents itself.
We are collaborative
There are brief periods in history when individuals can make a bigger impact than teams. This is not one of those periods. In order to succeed, we must make teams that work together well. Our individuals are amazing, but our collaboration is legendary.
We are fair, honest, and open
A great relationship is open and honest, and fair to all involved. We recognize the importance of having great relationships, so we are honest with everyone. There’s value to ensuring that our messages are well designed, but we never lie.
We value our families
Our employees come with a vast network of people who love them. We appreciate the families our employees bring into our lives and we value their contribution to our success.
Doing Meaningful Work
We know that what you do day in and day out is important to you. Here, you’ll join a team of professionals dedicated to improving the world around us, in big and little ways, every day.
Offering fun and exciting events and opportunities to support important social causes are not just nice to do but integral to building a collaborative and inclusive culture. Here are some of the things that make TCG a positively distinct place to work.
Sprees
TCG offers $1,000 each month to hold social and charity sprees — fun activities that bring employees together. Any TCGer may choose and organize a spree. Past sprees included scuba diving lessons, cooking classes, and horseback riding. Charity Sprees have included volunteer work with Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery and Generosity Feeds.
Events
TCG holds events every year for business, fun, and sometimes both. Every summer, we have our Annual All-hands meeting, where the executive staff gives their “State of the Company” address and hold an open forum for answering employee questions that span the serious (what’s our strategy for capturing new business?) to the absurd (how old is the pet snake that lives at headquarters?)
The annual early-summer picnic is our keystone family-friendly event. There’s food, fun, family, and somehow there’s always sun. Sometimes we have clowns, but only the non-scary clowns. Frightening children has never been an event.
