We’re dedicated to hiring diverse talent and ensuring that candidates and employees are treated with respect and compassion. Our collective responsibility at Teachable is to educate ourselves when we lack information. Because of this, we’re constantly striving to build a team that is rich in diversity, equitable in opportunity, and inclusive for everyone.

In addition to six Employee Resource Groups, Teachable is building out robust programming related to DEI, including diversity and bias training, company-wide roundtable discussions, and a speaker’s series geared towards amplifying diverse experiences, with more soon to come.

At Teachable, we have six employee-led resource groups (or ERGs) that are meant to be safe spaces for folks who share a particular identity. The different groups all host programming for the company as well as for those within the ERG.

  • API (Asian American Pacific Islander) - To uplift employees of AAPI Heritage (Anyone from or descended from people from the Asian continent and/or Pacific Islands) at Teachable by providing a safe-space for open dialogue while also making a cultural impact through professional development and community outreach opportunities. 
  • BE@T (Black Employees) - To uplift employees of African descent at Teachable by providing a safe-space for open dialogue while also making a cultural impact through professional development and community outreach opportunities.
  • Latinx ERG - To empower and celebrate Latinx employees by creating an inclusive environment. We strive to have a strong diverse representation by sharing LatinX culture through events and supporting recruiting activities.
  • neuro:diversity - To recognize, support, and empower neurodivergent individuals. We aim to improve how neurodiversity is viewed in the workplace, increase workplace accessibility, and subvert the stigma carried by individuals that diverge from society’s neurological norm.
  • Teachaqueers - To recognize, unify, and celebrate LGBTQIA+ employees in a positive and non-judgmental environment where they can fully express their individuality and share experiences.
  • Womxn of Teachable - To support and empower women by fostering a community at Teachable that provides professional development and educational opportunities.
