Pros

HR and senior management are working to improve quality of life among staff and to make programme delivery more community-centred. HALO's mission is fantastic and worth working toward each day. There are many outstanding people at HALO who are enjoyable to work around.

Cons

As with anywhere, people's experiences vary widely depending on who their managers are. HALO's core values of commitment and loyalty are demonstrated across the board and permeate every part of the organisation. The value it places on staff wellbeing and positive management practices are less well defined, though, and so the emphasis placed on those things varies considerably across the organisation.
