this hospital tends to retain staff longer; scheduled annual pay increases associated with length of employment, in addition to pay increases related to job performance; charting system is EPIC which is easy and convenient to use

there is still short staffing but not as bad as other hospitals in the area; sometimes the ratios are questionable depending on the unit
