Depending on the team, the work itself can be great.Cons
I find the work culture in this company to be unhealthy. It's a place where selfishness and favouritism thrive. There are company values, but they only exist on paper and none of them actually work. Career opportunities are limited, there have been two attempts to create a career framework in the last year, both of which have come to nothing. There's also no transparency about salaries, but it's a known fact that new employees are paid close to average salaries, while existing employees are only get promises of a better future. You can never raise your concerns with anyone who has the power to make a change. It's always like a broken telephone: you can talk to your manager, he can talk to his manager, and so on. And it always takes months and has no real effect on anything. The management of this company has no long-term vision, but they always have some initiative that has to be implemented immediately for the sake of quick profit, without thinking about the long-term plan. I doubt that there is such a thing as a long-term plan here. The last thing I want to mention is the recent attempt by the management to sabotage the establishment of the works council. After a long history of disregarding employees, it was disappointing to see the management's resistance to employees getting a framework to stand up for their rights.
